England to play friendly against Germany in Berlin



England will travel to Berlin to face Germany in a friendly next year, the Football Association has announced.

Roy Hodgson's side will visit the Olympic Stadium on March 26, with the kick-off time still to be confirmed.

The official Twitter account of the Football Association said: "It has been announced that @England will play @DFB_Team_EN at Berlin's Olympic Stadium on Saturday 26 March 2016."

The match is expected to form part of the two countries' preparations for the European Championships with both sides expected to qualify for France next summer.

England's last meeting with Germany came at Wembley Stadium in November 2013 when Arsenal defender Per Mertesacker's first-half header gave the visitors victory in the build-up to the 2014 World Cup.

But England won 2-1 on their last visit to Berlin in November 2008 when Matthew Upson and John Terry were on target for Fabio Capello's side.

World champions Germany are currently second in the FIFA world rankings with England in ninth spot.

The FA said the friendly was the latest confirmation of plans announced last November to face Europe's elite sides ahead of Euro 2016.

Tickets details for the game at the 74,475-capacity Olympic Stadium will be confirmed to England Supporters Travel Club members in due course, the FA added.

Woman Tortues Her 12-Year Old Housemaid To Blind
