Martin Skrtel has signed a new contract with Liverpool, the club have announced. Skrtel’s future had been thrown into doubt after he rejected a contract offer from the Reds last month. The Slovakia international centre-back had 12 months remaining to run on his previous deal but has now put pen to paper on a new contract to stay at Anfield.
